parent will begin dating while their child is extremely young. In many instances of
reported sex abuse among children, it is the boyfriend or girlfriend of the single

child when they report the abuse and turn a blind eye to behavioral changes.

St. Rose-Rein was one of those children, whose calls for help went unanswered, in
her case, by her mother. She paints a portrait of how a bond between her and her
